The Ingrid Starnes Athens Dress is pictured here in Rosewood, it also comes in Seafoam and Black.
As you can see from the picture, the Athens Dress is a modern take on the perfect modest dress, the neckline of the dress sits just under the collar bone and goes around to create a V which shows the space between the shoulder blades.
However, not all the detail is at the back of the dress. The sleeves have detail, so does the front of the dress, with its thin waistline and pleats.
The waist cinches in with gentle pleats. These pleats are slightly more pronounced when sitting down, it then flows into the skirt, which is 100% silk, and has a slit on one side (our left). The skirt falls to the floor. It is ideal for sitting in because it falls close to the body, meaning you’re not sitting on a great deal of fabric or contending with it through the day. The dress fastens with a zip closure at the back of the dress, the zip runs the length of the bodice and ends before the V at the back.
The sleeves fit the arm, in a comfortable yet slim way, so you are also not contending with fabric there. The sleeves run the length of the arm and are fastened with silk-covered buttons as pictured. There are four buttons in a vertical row.
Dry cleaning recommended.
