The Showater pant is a classic, like its paired jacket, the Showater pant comes in Checker, Navy and this pictured Taffy Pink. Which one may compare to a bubble-gum pink tone.
It is also 70% polyester, 30% wool and dry cleaning is recommended for this garment.
These pants are designed to fit the leg and have pleats at the waist to make room for your hips. The belt is attached to the trouser, with a thin rectangular clasp at the front. The trouser slips on with a zip at the back. If you’re a wheelchair user, you might require assistance to do up and undo this zip, due to its being placed at the back.
Otherwise, if you’re sitting down in these trousers all-day or for the majority of the time, they have enough room to be able to do so comfortably.
As you can see in the image, there may be some crinkles or excess fabric in the pant when you’re sitting down, that might otherwise not be there if you were standing up, because when you stand up these get smoothed out. If this bothers you, we recommend flattening out any crinkles on your lap area, so they create one fold, as our model has done.
For any crinkles down the pant, this is relatively unavoidable, but the crinkles down the pant are more expected than those in the lap and add to the styled look of the garment, so we recommend you go with them.
The hem of the trouser is designed to end at ankle length, there are pockets at the hip, but we recommend if pairing with the Showater jacket, that wheelchair users use the jacket pockets, as access to the trouser ones sitting may prove challenging.
