This top is the perfect piece of slip-on casualwear, which still has some elegant detailing.
The fabric is an Organic Cotton Jersey, the same material that was used for the Convent Pant.
The fabric is lightweight, comfortable and has some room to stretch and move with you. The sleeves do slightly flare in their positioning below the elbow; you may consider this when deciding to buy as the top is white, so the flared sleeve may rub against wheelchair wheels.
The neckline sits above the collarbones, in an elegant circular shape, you can drawstring the side of this tee to cinch in the front and back of this top (at one side). If you do not cinch in the top, it sits slightly wider on the body. As you can see cinching creates gathers in the tee, but the cinch may also be helpful to keep the top close to your body, so you’re not annoyed by excess fabric when pushing, or moving if this frustrates you.
We’d also note, that when cinched, the top does have a peplum-like hem-line, in that it cinches and flows outward slightly, if you’re looking for a style similar to a peplum, but not as apparent as a peplum shirt itself; we’d recommend this tee, as it is not a strict peplum, it is a smaller less obvious one and therefore less likely to stick out too far, if you don’t like it when peplum garments do this.
The shade of white is nearest to a pure white.
As with all white garments, we advise being wary that it is more prone to staining or marking, from wheelchair wheels or other mobility aids.
For best care, cold gentle machine wash and dry in the shade. Wash with similar colours before first wear.
