Based in Wellington, Hope Cotton is a passionate advocate for the D/deaf and neurodivergent communities. Leading her school's New Zealand Sign Language Club, she champions accessibility and inclusion. With experience in modelling, acting, writing, and public speaking, Hope is a well-known face in the D/deaf community, having modelled for the Ombudsman and fashion brands. As she pursues her degree in Political Communication, English, and Creative Writing, Hope aims to secure a full-time job advocating for disabled Kiwis, utilising her skills in politics, writing, and communications to create an accessible Aotearoa New Zealand.
